Is the om system om 1 mark ii good for beginners?
The OM-1 Mark II is a capable camera, but I wouldn't call it a beginner's camera. It's a wildlife favourite, and you'd buy it for the stacked sensor, the very good bird detection and the light kit. If you're new, you'd be paying for features you may not use yet.
It takes Micro Four Thirds lenses, so you have plenty of choice. For an everyday kit, the OM System M.Zuiko 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 III is small and sensible. When you want reach for wildlife, the Olympus M.Zuiko 75-300mm f/4.8-6.7 II is a good step up.
Every current camera from a major brand is good, so size and handling matter more than the spec sheet. Hold one in a shop first, see your first camera, and consider buying used to save money.
