Is the olympus pen e p5 good for beginners?
The site doesn't describe the E-P5 as a beginner camera. It's a 2013 metal-bodied PEN with five-axis stabilisation, and the viewfinder is an optional clip-on. If you're starting out, I'd look first at the Olympus PEN E-PL9 or the Olympus PEN E-PL10, which I've written up as beginner cameras.
If you already have an E-P5 or want one for its build and stabilisation, a simple everyday kit would be:
- Panasonic Lumix G 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 II for general shooting
- Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ as a second small zoom
- Panasonic Lumix G 25mm f/1.7 for low light and portraits
