Is the olympus om d e m1 mark iii good for beginners?

I don't have a beginner rating for the E-M1 Mark III, but I'd say it's aimed at people who already know what they want. It's the upgrade on the E-M1 Mark II, a weather-sealed pro-style body with a focus joystick. For a first camera, I'd look at the smaller OM-D E-M10 Mark III, which has five-axis stabilisation and 4K video in a light body.

Either way, pair it with an easy kit zoom like the Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ or the Olympus M.Zuiko 12-50mm f/3.5-6.3 EZ. As my first camera guide says, pick the one that feels right in your hand, and buying used can save you a lot.
