Is the olympus m zuiko 12mm f 2 good in low light?

Yes, the 12mm f/2 is a good choice for dim scenes. Its f/2 aperture lets in plenty of light for a lens this small, and as I like to say, primes are much faster than most zooms for the money.

The sensor sets a limit, though. On Micro Four Thirds you're roughly two stops behind full frame at the same framing and f-number, so high ISO will be noisier than on a bigger sensor. The lens helps, but it can't close that gap. It also isn't stabilised, so for handheld shots in dim rooms you'll want a fast shutter speed or a camera with in-body stabilisation.

If low light is your main job, Is full frame worth it? explains when a bigger sensor is worth the extra weight.
