You asked
Is the nikon d3300 good for video?
The Nikon D3300 page on this site doesn't list its video specs, so I can't tell you its frame rates, whether it has a microphone input, or whether it has a screen that flips to the front. Check those on the official spec sheet before you buy, because they matter more for video than the stills numbers.
The body has no stabilisation, so for handheld video you'll want a stabilised lens. The Nikon AF-P DX 10-20mm f/4.5-5.6G VR gives a wide, vlogging-friendly view of about 15-30mm full frame equivalent, and it has VR. The Laowa 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D is a wide prime at about 18mm equivalent. For what to look for beyond the camera, see Video and Video.
