Is the nikon af s 28mm f 1 4e ed good for vlogging?

Not really. I'd skip this lens for vlogging.

At 28mm on full frame it's already tighter than the wide view I'd want at arm's length. On an APS-C Nikon it frames like 42mm, which is far too tight for a selfie-style shot. It's also not stabilised, so you'd see every bit of hand shake, and f/1.4 is wasted when you're mostly filming yourself in ordinary light.
