Is the nikon af s 24mm f 1 4g ed good for landscape?

I wouldn't pick this one for landscapes. On full frame it gives you a true 24mm, which is wide enough for many scenes, but the f/1.4 speed is wasted there. Landscapes usually get shot between f/8 and f/11, where that extra speed does nothing for you.

If you want a wide lens for landscapes, the 16-35mm f/4 suits the job better. It's a full frame zoom that covers big skies and strong foregrounds. The 24mm prime is still a good lens for low light, people, and food. For the reasoning behind these choices, see landscape.
