Is the meike 25mm f 1 7 air worth it?

I think it's worth it if you want a small, fast everyday prime on an APS-C body. On APS-C it frames like a 38mm lens on full frame, and f/1.7 gives about the depth of field of f/2.5, so you get a natural view with some background separation. It has autofocus but no stabilisation, so you'll rely on good light or a steady hand.

It fits Sony E, Fujifilm X and Nikon Z. Sensible pairings from its list are the Sony a6400, the Fujifilm X-T30 II and the Nikon Z50. Full-frame bodies such as the Sony a7 III can use it too, but only in APS-C crop mode, so you give up resolution.

I don't list prices on this page, so check current pricing before you buy. If you're weighing up sensor size first, see Sensor sizes.
