Is the leica summicron m 28mm f 2 asph good in low light?

The Summicron-M 28mm f/2 is a good low-light choice for its size because f/2 is a wide aperture. It lets in plenty of light, and it's a full-frame lens, so it gets the low-light benefit that sensor sizes describes: a full-frame sensor collects more light than APS-C at the same framing and f-number. Two things to keep in mind. It's manual focus only, so in very dim scenes you'll be focusing by eye. And I don't have high-ISO test results for the lens or the bodies, so I won't claim one body is cleaner than another.

It fits a long list of Leica M bodies. For low-light work, I'd start with the newer Leica M11 or the Leica M10 and pick based on the rest of your needs.
