Is the leica noctilux m 50mm f 1 hard to focus manually?

The Leica Noctilux-M 50mm f/1 is manual focus only, so you'll be focusing by hand on a Leica M body. My page doesn't rate how difficult that is, so I won't guess.

The faster Noctilux-M 50mm f/0.95 ASPH is the one I'd warn you about, since its focus is very thin wide open. The Noctilux-M 50mm f/1.2 ASPH is a remake of the 1966 original if you're comparing the family. Bodies that fit the f/1 include the Leica M11 and Leica M10.

My advice: practise focusing wide open on a still subject before you shoot anything that matters.
