Is the leica m10 d good for street photography?
The Leica M10-D can work well for street, but the site doesn't rate it for that use, so this is my take. Street rewards a camera you can shoot without fuss, and the M10-D's lack of a rear screen means you're working by eye through the viewfinder, which suits that. Its full-frame sensor is more than street needs, though. My guide to sensor sizes says a good APS-C camera is enough for street, and you'll carry it more.
If you do go with the M10-D, pick a compact lens. The 35mm options are my favourites: the 7Artisans M 35mm f/2.8, the Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH, and the Leica Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH for a wider view. For how to approach people, read my word on people.
