Is the leica m ev1 good for beginners?

I'd call the Leica M EV1 a second camera rather than a first one. It's a 60-megapixel full frame mirrorless body with no rangefinder, so you focus M lenses by hand through an electronic viewfinder. It also has no stabilisation in the body, so slow shutter speeds need stabilised lenses. Those habits take time to learn.

If you still want it, a sensible starter kit would be the Leica Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 ASPH for everyday wide shots, the Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH as a versatile normal-to-wide, and the Leica APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH for portraits.

For a first camera, I'd look at the size, handling and lens range first, as the first camera guide explains. Buying used can also keep costs down.
