Is the laowa 105mm f 2 stf hard to focus manually?

The Laowa 105mm f/2 STF is manual focus only. There's no autofocus, so you'll be turning the focus ring yourself on every shot. I don't have a rating for how hard it is to nail focus, so I can't say whether it's easy or fiddly. What I can say is that at f/2 the depth of field is very shallow, so a small focus miss shows up quickly, especially on portraits. Take your time, and use your camera's magnified view if it has one.

It's built for full frame, and it fits Sony E, Canon EF, Nikon F and Pentax K mounts. On APS-C it frames like a longer lens, so check the lens page for the details. If you're new to manual focus, the lenses guide explains where a manual prime fits into a first kit.
