Is the fujifilm x100vi good for video?
The site doesn't have video specs for the X100VI, so I can only judge it against what I look for in a video camera. My video guide says the best vlogging setups use a wide lens, and the vlogging checklist suggests around 16-20mm full-frame equivalent. The X100VI's built-in 23mm lens frames like 34mm on full frame, which is a lot tighter than that, so it's a poor fit for shooting yourself at arm's length.
It does have stabilisation, which helps handheld footage. Whether it has a front-facing screen or a microphone input isn't listed on its catalogue page, so check those before you buy. Because the lens is fixed, you can't swap in a wider one. For sound, follow the audio advice and plan for an external microphone either way.
