Is the fujifilm x half worth it?
The Fujifilm X half is a small fixed-lens compact, announced in 2025. It has a 17.7-megapixel 1-inch sensor and a built-in 11mm f/2.8 lens, which frames like about 29mm on full frame. It shoots vertical half-frame-style pictures through an optical viewfinder, so it's built for a deliberate, film-like way of shooting.
I'd say it's worth it if you want a pocketable camera for street, travel, or everyday life and you're happy with one fixed focal length. Be aware that it has no stabilisation, so slow shutter speeds in dim light will be tricky. The 1-inch sensor also won't match a larger camera in low light. For that trade-off, read Sensor sizes.
