Is the fujifilm gfx100s worth buying used?

I'd say the GFX100S is a strong used buy. It's a 2021 body with a 102-megapixel medium format sensor and in-body stabilisation. The buying used guide makes the general point that a body one or two generations old is often most of the camera for much less money. The newer GFX100S II is also a 102-megapixel medium format camera, so the older model gives you a lot of the same capability.

Budget for a new genuine battery with any used body, since old batteries lose capacity.

For an everyday kit on the GFX100S, I'd start with the Fujifilm GF 32-64mm f/4 R LM WR for general shooting. If you want a sharp prime for portraits, the Fujifilm GF 63mm f/2.8 R WR is a good choice.
