Is the canon rf 24mm f 1 8 macro is stm good for vlogging?

Not really. The Canon RF 24mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM frames as 24mm on full frame, which is tighter than I'd want for vlogging. Stabilisation crops in further, so you end up framed close at arm's length. On an APS-C Canon body like the Canon EOS R50 it's roughly 38mm equivalent, tighter still.

For vlogging, I'd look for a wide lens, around 16-20mm full-frame equivalent, along with a screen that flips to the front and a microphone input. The full checklist is on the Video page. Audio matters more than people expect, so plan for a microphone from the start. The audio notes cover the options.

This is a macro lens, so it's built for close-up work. For talking to the camera, it's the wrong tool.
