Is the canon rf 15 35mm f 2 8l is usm good for astrophotography?

I don't have a page on astrophotography, so I can't tell you how this lens performs for night sky work. What I can see is that it's a full frame wide zoom at 15mm, with a fast f/2.8 maximum aperture and image stabilisation. Those are the features that usually matter for the Milky Way, so it's worth a look if you already own a full frame Canon RF body like the Canon EOS R6 Mark II or Canon EOS R5.

For the wide-zoom reasoning behind big skies and strong foregrounds, the landscape page is the closest I have. Check reviews from people who shoot astro before you buy, because I can't vouch for it from here.
