Is the canon eos r100 good for video?

The R100 can shoot video, but its catalogue page doesn't say whether it has a flip-out screen, a microphone input or how heavy it is. Those matter for video, so check them on the spec sheet before you buy. The vlogging checklist covers what to look for.

The R100 has no stabilisation in the body, so pair it with a stabilised lens. For a wide view, these are good options:

• Canon RF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM: about 16-29mm full-frame equivalent, with image stabilisation
• Canon RF 10-20mm f/4L IS STM: about 16-32mm equivalent, also stabilised, for a bigger budget

For the full camera details, see the Canon EOS R100 page.
