Is the canon ef 24mm f 1 4l ii usm good for vlogging?

Not really, not with this one. The 24mm f/1.4 is a fine lens for stills, but vlogging needs a wider view. My video guide suggests around 16-20mm full-frame equivalent at arm's length, and 24mm frames you tight. On APS-C it becomes about 38mm, which is far too tight for a selfie-style shot.
