You asked
Is sigma or tamron better?
I don't have a head-to-head verdict on Sigma versus Tamron, and I won't pick a winner without the lenses in front of me. What I can say is that both make good lenses for many mounts, often for much less than the camera maker's own. Sigma and Tamron both make autofocus lenses for Fujifilm X-mount bodies, so either brand is a sensible place to look.
Before you buy, check two things: that the lens supports your body's autofocus features, and that the camera maker allows third-party lenses on that mount, since not every brand does. The third-party lenses section on the Lenses page covers both points.
If you tell me which camera you have and what you want to photograph, I can narrow it down to a few specific lenses. Our buying used guide is also worth a look if you're trying a focal length before committing.
