Full frame or aps c?

Honestly, for most people I'd pick APS-C. Full frame earns its keep in low light, at events, and for portraits with very shallow depth of field. For travel, street, budget wildlife, and most hobby shooting, a good APS-C camera with good lenses does the job, and you'll actually carry it.

Full frame costs you size, weight, and money, especially in lenses. A fast APS-C lens also closes much of the background-blur gap for portraits, so don't assume you need full frame for that. Read Sensor sizes for the trade-offs, and Portraits if that's your main subject. If you're leaning APS-C, Sony E is a good mount to look at, since it takes both sensor sizes.
