Canon eos r6 vs canon eos r5?

The EOS R5 and EOS R6 share a lot. Both are full frame Canon RF mirrorless cameras with in-body stabilisation. The big difference is resolution: the R5 has a 45-megapixel sensor, which leaves room for heavy cropping and large prints. The R6 has 20.1 megapixels. I think that's enough for most work, and it's stabilised and excellent in low light.

For a sensible everyday kit on either body, try the Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM for general work, the Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM for distance and portraits, and the Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM as a small, cheap prime.

If you're still weighing full frame against smaller sensors, the sensor sizes guide explains the trade-offs.
