You asked
Canon eos 2000d vs canon eos 250d?
The 2000D and the 250D are close cousins. Both have a 24.1-megapixel APS-C Canon sensor, both use the Canon EF mount, and neither has stabilisation in the body. The differences I list are the announcement years (2018 for the 2000D, 2019 for the 250D) and size. The 250D is the very small one, sold in North America as the Rebel SL3. If you want the smaller body, that's the one. I don't cover prices or autofocus on these pages, so check those yourself.
Both bodies take the same lenses, so the lens choice matters more. A sensible everyday kit would be:
- Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM for everyday walking-around shots
- Canon EF-S 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 IS STM for wide landscapes and interiors
- Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS STM for reach
Both bodies have a 1.6x crop factor, so see the sensor sizes guide if that term is new to you.
