Can I use adapted lenses on the nikon d3400?
I don't cover adapters on this site, so I can't tell you which adapted lenses work on the D3400 or how they perform. What I can say is that the D3400 uses the Nikon F mount, and its Nikon D3400 page lists a long run of lenses that fit it directly, from Nikon, Tamron, Sigma, Laowa and Zeiss. That's the easiest place to start.
Remember the 1.5 crop factor when you choose, since a 50mm lens frames like about 75mm. The focal length converter does the sums for you. The D3400 also has no in-body stabilisation, so a stabilised lens helps for slow shutter speeds.
