Can I use adapted lenses on the canon eos 1d x mark ii?
The EOS-1D X Mark II is a Canon EF DSLR, so EF lenses mount on it directly with no adapter. The whole Canon EF mount range fits, and you can see the full list on the camera page.
The adapting note I have for this body runs the other way: every EF and EF-S lens adapts to Canon's RF mirrorless bodies without losing anything. That's worth knowing if you ever move to RF, but it doesn't change what you can use on this camera.
I don't cover adapting lenses from other brands onto the 1D X Mark II, so I can't tell you how those would behave. For an everyday kit, I'd start with the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM. Between them they cover most of what people shoot.
