Can I adapt the pentax smc da 300mm f 4 ed if sdm to sony e?

The site doesn't cover adapting this lens to Sony E, so I can't confirm it works. The page lists it for Pentax K mount and APS-C cameras only: [Pentax smc DA* 300mm f/4 ED [IF] SDM](/gear/lenses/pentax-smc-da-300mm-f-4-ed-if-sdm/).

My lenses guide is about adapting old manual-focus lenses, which is cheap and easy. This one is an autofocus lens, so you'd likely lose autofocus through an adapter, and I haven't tested that combination.

If you want 300mm reach on a mirrorless body, check the sensor sizes guide to see how the focal length frames on your sensor.
