Can I adapt the pentax hd d fa 15 30mm f 2 8 ed sdm wr to sony e?

I can't confirm that. The Pentax HD D FA 15-30mm f/2.8 ED SDM WR is listed only for the Pentax K mount, and none of the Sony E cameras are on its fitting list.

The Lenses page explains that mirrorless mounts are shallow, so old manual-focus lenses from film cameras adapt easily and cheaply. This lens is an autofocus Pentax K zoom, though, and that page doesn't cover adapting modern autofocus lenses to other systems, so I wouldn't assume it will work with autofocus or full electronic control on a Sony body. If you want a wide zoom for Sony E, check the lens catalogue for lenses made for that mount first.
