Can I adapt the nikon af s dx 55 300mm f 4 5 5 6g ed vr to nikon z?

The site doesn't cover this combination. The Nikon AF-S DX 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED VR is listed only as Nikon F mount, and its page says nothing about Nikon Z bodies or adapters, so I won't guess at compatibility or image quality.

The Lenses guide explains that mirrorless mounts have a short flange distance, which is why adapting lenses is often easy. It's written about old manual-focus lenses, so check any adapter's own specs before you buy. Also remember this is a DX lens, so on a full-frame body it only works in crop mode.
