Best wide angle lens for the pentax kf?

For wide angles on the Pentax KF, I'd start with the Pentax HD DA* 11-18mm f/2.8 ED DC AW. It's the fast option, and on this APS-C body it frames like 16-27mm on full frame, which covers most landscape and interior work.

If you'd rather have a wider zoom range, the [Pentax smc DA 12-24mm f/4 ED AL [IF]](/gear/lenses/pentax-smc-da-12-24mm-f-4-ed-al-if/) runs from about 18mm to 36mm equivalent.

For something small and simple, I like the Pentax HD DA 15mm f/4 ED AL Limited, which frames like 22mm. If you want wider still, the [Pentax smc DA 14mm f/2.8 ED [IF]](/gear/lenses/pentax-smc-da-14mm-f-2-8-ed-if/) gives you about 21mm equivalent.
