Best wide angle lens for the canon eos 850d?

For the Canon EOS 850D, I'd start with the Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM. It's made for APS-C cameras like this one and covers roughly 16-35mm on full frame, which is a practical everyday wide.

If you want to shoot in dim light or get more background separation, the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM Art is the one to look at. Its f/2.8 aperture lets in far more light than the f/3.5-4.5 zooms, and it's sharp across the range.

For a wide-angle zoom with more reach, the Canon EF 11-24mm f/4L USM is a solid choice, covering about 18-38mm on full frame.
