Best travel lens for the nikon d7500?

For the D7500, my pick is the Nikon AF-S DX 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. It covers roughly 24-128mm in full-frame terms, which handles nearly every travel shot with one lens. The VR matters because the D7500 has no stabilisation in the body, so it helps in dim churches and interiors.

If you want more reach, the Nikon AF-S DX 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR stretches to about 27-210mm full frame, though it's a bit more lens to carry.

Then add one small fast prime for evenings and food. The Nikon AF-S DX 35mm f/1.8G is my favourite choice, about 52mm full frame, and it's good in dim restaurants.
