Best travel lens for the canon eos rp?

For travel on the EOS RP, I'd start with a zoom that covers wide to short telephoto. My top pick is the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM. It's stabilised, which matters for dim churches and interiors, and it covers most travel pictures on its own.

If size matters more, the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM is the lighter option. For one lens that does almost everything, the Canon RF 24-240mm f/4-6.3 IS USM reaches much further, at the cost of some bulk.

Then add a small fast prime for evenings and food, such as the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM. For the reasoning behind this kit, see what to pack for travel.
