Best travel lens for the canon eos r5?
For travel on the R5, I'd start with the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM. It covers the wide-to-short-telephoto range that handles most travel pictures, and its stabilisation works alongside the R5's in-body stabilisation for dim churches and interiors.
If you want something lighter, the Canon RF 24-105mm f/4-7.1 IS STM gives the same framing for less bulk, but it's slower at the long end. If you'd rather never change lenses, the Canon RF 24-240mm f/4-6.3 IS USM gives you much more reach in one lens.
For evenings and food, I'd add a small fast prime such as the Canon RF 35mm f/1.8 Macro IS STM. The travel guide has the rest of the kit.
