Best portrait lens for fujifilm g?

The site doesn't have a GFX lens list yet, so I can't name a specific portrait lens for the Fujifilm G mount. The Fujifilm G page explains that the mount takes a sensor about 1.7 times the area of full frame, and that many full-frame lenses will adapt but not all of them cover the larger sensor. Check coverage before you buy.

The two Fujifilm portrait lenses I do cover, the XF 56mm f/1.2 R and the XF 60mm f/2.4 R Macro, are made for APS-C cameras, so they won't fit a GFX body.

For the general approach, start with the Portraits page. My view is that light matters more than gear: a window and a subject turned slightly toward it will beat any lens.
