Best first lens for canon ef?

Here is what the site says about that.

From Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II: Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II: A prime lens by Canon for Full frame cameras, 50mm f/1.8. The old plastic nifty fifty: noisy autofocus, but a very common first prime.

From Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM: Canon RF 50mm f/1.8 STM: A prime lens by Canon for Full frame cameras, 50mm f/1.8. The cheapest fast lens on Canon mirrorless, and a great first prime.
