Best camera for sports photography?
Sport is one of the hardest things to shoot, because the subject is far away, moves fast, and won't repeat the moment. Start with the wildlife and sport guide for the reasoning. I don't have a body-by-body comparison for sport here, so I can't name a single best camera.
For the lens side, two of my picks for sport are the Sigma 200mm f/2 DG OS Sports, a stabilised fast prime for indoor sport, and the Sigma 300-600mm f/4 DG OS Sports, a constant f/4 zoom for reaching across a pitch or track. Both are listed for full frame cameras, so check your body's mount before you buy.
Before you pick a body, think about the three questions, especially which lenses you'll want in two years.
