Best budget pentax k camera?
If you want a budget Pentax K-mount camera, I'd point you at the Pentax K-500. It's a DSLR with a 16.3-megapixel APS-C sensor. It's the K-50 without weather sealing, so you give up some toughness but keep the core camera.
If you can stretch a little further, the Pentax K-5 II has the same 16.3-megapixel sensor. It's the same camera without an anti-aliasing filter, which is worth considering if you shoot lots of fine detail.
The Pentax K-01 is a mirrorless oddity with no viewfinder. I'd only pick it if you specifically want that look.
Whichever you choose, budget for a new genuine battery. Old ones lose capacity, as I explain in buying used.
