Best budget lens for the sony a1 ii?
I don't list prices on the site, so I'm judging by what each lens is. The slower, simpler zooms are usually the easiest on the wallet. For the a1 II, I'd look at:
- Sony FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6: small and light, a good everyday walk-around lens.
- Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS: one lens that covers most subjects.
- Sony FE 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G OSS: if you want reach for wildlife or sport.
If you're building a kit on a budget, I'd still spend roughly as much on lenses as on the body. A modest setup with a good lens beats a flagship body with a cheap zoom. More on that in your first camera.
