Best budget leica m camera?

I don't list prices on this site, so I can't tell you which Leica M is the cheapest. The only Leica M body I cover is the Leica M EV1, a 60-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera announced in 2025. It's an M without the rangefinder: you focus M lenses through a built-in electronic viewfinder.

If you go with it, pair it with a lens. The Leica Summicron-M 35mm f/2 ASPH and the Leica Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH are both prime lenses for full frame cameras. Spend roughly as much on glass as on the body, as your first camera explains. If you buy used, budget for a new genuine battery too, as buying used advises.
