7artisans 55mm f 1 4 vs fujifilm xf 56mm f 1 2 r?

The Fujifilm XF 56mm f/1.2 R is the better lens if you shoot Fujifilm X and want autofocus. It's the faster of the two, and on APS-C it gives about the depth of field of f/1.8, which makes for lovely portraits. It's the original version, replaced by the WR model, and there's also an APD version with smoother out-of-focus areas at the cost of some light.

The 7Artisans 55mm f/1.4 is manual focus only, but it works on both Sony E and Fujifilm X, so it's the one to consider if you shoot Sony or want a lens that's happy to be focused by hand. Its f/1.4 gives about the depth of field of f/2.1 on APS-C.

If you're after portraits, the portraits guide explains why the 56mm-class focal length suits people.
